LS-549 Loudspeaker when used in conjunction with the AN/PRC-25 (DIsplay only) provides a lightweight, hands-free, monitoring capability by the operator or those in the vicinity of the unit.
The LS-549 Loudspeaker design conception from AN/PRR9, and has been successfully employed in the southeast asia war zone.
